Day 1: ARRIVAL KOZHIKODE AIRPORT/ RAILWAY STATION – SULTAN BATHERY.
After arrival transfer to hotel in Wayanad. After relaxing for some time moving for sight seeing in sultan bathery Jain temple. It is generally known as Tippu’s fort. Evening free for on activities. Overnight stay at same hotel.
Day 2: SULTAN BATHERY - MEPPADI
After Breakfast moving to see the two caves of Ampukuthimala located between Sultan bathery and Ambalavayal, it is a pre-historic rock shelter of the bygone era & civilization. After that proceed to see the Sentinel rock waterfall, which is an idle place for swimming. After that leaving to Meppadi to interact with tribals. There are 4 types of tribals in this region. After that back to hotel. Overnight stay at same hotel.
Day3: SULTAN BATHERY – AMBALAVAYAL
After Breakfast proceeding to Ambalavayal heritage museum. This heritage museum housing artifacts and belongings of the various tribes of the land. This heritage museum is one of the best in Kerala. After that proceeding to view the spectacular Banasura Sagar Dam, this dam is been considered as the largest earth dam in India, the Banasura project precincts are an ideal starting point for treks to the Banasura Peak. Overnight stay at same hotel.
Day 4: SULTAN BATHERY - KALPETTA
After Breakfast checkout from the hotel & proceeding to Kalpetta. After reaching check into the hotel, relax for some time and then moving to visit the Varambetta Mosque. It is the oldest mosque in wayanad nearly 300 years. After that proceeding to Vythiri which is a famous tourist spot known for its Pookot Lake. Boating facilities are arranged to the very vast natural lake, which lies in the lap of surrounding mountains. Shopping facilities are also available. Back to hotel. Overnight stay at Kalpetta hotel.
Day 5: KALPETTA – MANANTHAVADI
After Breakfast moving to Mananthavadi to visit Pazhassi memorial. It is known for the body of Veer Pazhassi, the lion of Kerala who was buried there. Then proceeding to the village in mananthavadi to interact with tribals. The tribal performs their traditional art form also known as “Pira” once in every week. After that proceeding to Kuruvadweep. This uninhabited island on the eastward bound Kabani River is an ideal picnic spot. This place is also the home to rare species of birds, orchids and herbs. Evening free for on activities. Overnight stay at same hotel.
Day 6: KALPETTA – CHEMBRA PEAK
After early Breakfast will proceed to Chembra Peak. This peak is the 2100 meters above the sea level, which is tallest summit in the region. Climbing this peak is a challenging mountaineering endeavor and would take a full day. The surrounding areas offer exceptional photo opportunities. Evening free for on activities. Overnight at same hotel.
Day 7: KALPETTA – PULPALLI
After Breakfast proceeding to Pulpalli to interact with tribals. After that proceeding to Thirunelli. This place is known as Papanasini. A ritual dip here is believed to wash one away of all worldly sins. Back to hotel. Overnight stay at same hotel.
Day 8: KALPETTA – KOZHIKODE AIRPORT/ RAILWAY STATION
After Breakfast, checkout from the hotel and leaving to the Airport / Railway Station to catch your onward Flight/ Train.
